Brush Fire

LA Country firefighter Denny Sims sets a backfire while fighting a small brush fire in a former landfill next to South Bay Trucks in Carson, Calif. on Thursday, August 6th, 2009. Gusting light winds fanned the flames, but pushed smoke away from the 405 freeway, limiting the fire's impact on traffic.
